Topnotch Health Club Colchester offers a wide range of facilities and services to it’s members. You can participate in a new member service programme that is tailored to meet your needs. This helps to ensure that you stick to your exercise plan and receive the relevant amount of support especially during the vital first 3 months of your membership. We aim to build your motivation, develop your confidence and keep you on track towards achieving your goals! Getting involved in group fitness classes is a great way to meet new friends, stay motivated and vary your exercise routine.
We run over 40 different classes per week. These include Body Pump, Spinning, Circuits and Pilates. Whatever you are looking to achieve, we have the group fitness classes in place to help make it happen.

Luxury changing rooms and Sunbeds.. Commit to early morning workouts. Why not get out of bed early and make a start Invest in a good pair of trainers. If you are working out in the gym, make sure you have a well designed cross trainer. Include one new exercise each month. A lack of variety can affect your motivation. Keep your body on its toes. Never forget your stretches. Take time at the end of every workout to cool down, unwind and stretch your body. Take a body fat test.
It will give you a starting point and benchmark to measure your progress against. Take out your favourite item of clothing. Get your favourite jeans or dress (that you haven’t been able to get into for a while). Keep them in view to help motivate you! Keep a workout log. Write down what you want to achieve, and what differences you can see and feel. Get a training buddy. Find a friend who wants to exercise too. Set a regular training schedule. This will help make sure you turn up, even on those cold rainy days! Keep hydrated - Water is your friend! Drinking water before, during and after exercise will keep energy levels high and help recovery after training. Rewards are great motivators, so allow yourself a treat once a week if you have kept to your workout plan.
